3D Mappa ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the 3D Mappa application for iPhone, iPad and Mac (the "App") and the website 3dmappa.com (the "Site"), and how that information is used.

1. Information We Collect

• Location searches. When you search for a location or coordinates in the App, that query is sent to our map and elevation data providers to retrieve terrain data for the requested area. Searches are used to fulfill your request and are not used to build a profile of you.
• Purchase information. Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple provides us with anonymized transaction records for the purpose of validating subscriptions.
• Diagnostics. With your consent via Apple's standard sharing settings, we may receive anonymized crash reports and performance data to help us fix bugs and improve the App.
• Support communications. If you email us at support@3dmappa.com, we receive your email address and the contents of your message so we can respond.

2. What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not track your physical location in the background.
• We do not display third-party advertising in the App.
• Your projects and exported files stay on your device unless you choose to share them.

3. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party providers for map imagery, elevation data and app distribution (including Apple and map data providers). These services may process your requests (such as map tile downloads for a searched area) under their own privacy policies. The Site may use standard web hosting logs that record IP addresses and pages visited for security and operational purposes.

4. Data Retention

Support emails are retained for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter. Anonymized diagnostics are retained only as long as necessary for troubleshooting and improvement.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the UK and EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@3dmappa.com.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we minimize risk by keeping data collection to the minimum required to operate the App.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Significant changes will be highlighted in the App or on the Site.
